Transcendentalist Peom

My favorite transcendentalist poem is Nature by Ralph Waldo Emerson. I really admire the way Emerson explains nature and it importance in the world. Also the way he explains nature's natural beauty. Compared to nature we as people are barely anything, because it is so large. Nature is so calm and relaxing and not many people realize that.

Huck Finn Ch. 33-End

The end of the book was very exciting. I think Tom did it with the whole escape plan. But, he just wanted to do it big because he already knew Miss Watson put him in her will to be a free man. I am so happy he is free'd and I hope they all end up having a fun, adventurous life together. Altogether i thought this book was ol because I don't think it's something I would normally pick up and start reading. I don't think I would recommend it to a teenage to read it because of the dialogue they used can be very hard to understand. I would rate this book a five. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either.

Huck Finn Ch. 21-32

These chapters were a little hard to read. I honestly just got less interested in the book because I was so confusing to me. I did like the part about the circus though, because Huck liked it a lot. It amused me that Huck didn't know that the guy fooling around was a clown. I really don't like the personalities of the King and the Duke. They are just theives and don't care about anyone but themselves. When they try to steal the money, I love the fact that Huck was honest with Mary and told her their plain. This shows even at a young age, someone knows right from wrong and can be a better person then two grown men. I really look up to Huck for doing this.

Huck Finn Ch. 11-22

These chapters were very exciting and easier to read at the same time. They were very straight up and not as confusing to me as the other ones were. an exciting part of these chapters was when a huge steam boat ran right over Jim and Hucks raft. It was very suspensful and I thought they were both killed. P art of there chapters i also liked is when Huck pretended to be a girl and failed. I think that they will get into much more trouble then they already have and maybe evetually find freedom.

Huck Finn Ch. 1-10

When I first started reading this book I found it a little difficult to understand. I read three chapters and decided to try downloading it to my computer so I could have someone read it to me instead. This really helped me understand and comprehend what was going on more. This book is very interesting so far. It really opens my eyes to how different life was back then. Like Jim being owned by Miss Watson, and Huck getting abused by his father and no one doing anything about it. If that every happened today he would be put in jail. I think Huck is an intelligent character. He knows how to read and write and is very good at survival skills. Him and Jim together make a great team and are pretty much in paradise on that island. Jim is free from chores and demands, and Huck is free from beating and abusings everynight. I hope the women Huck meets in the house in town is really nice and helps him and Jim out.
